Organiser John Hawke is now accepting entries for the 2012 Yorkshire Open Doubles Tournament, which will be held at Giggleswick School on Saturday October 13th. In addition to the main competition, there will also be plate and second plate competitions for the pairs eliminated in the early rounds, with all three competitions completed on the same day.
The entry fee is £14 per person (£12 for RFA members), payable on the day, and entries should be received by Thursday 11th October. Food and drinks will be provided during play and, after the tournament, the members of the White Rose Club invite all the players to join them in sampling some traditional Yorkshire hospitality. Dinner can be arranged in the evening, and accommodation can be recommended for those not wishing to drive after sampling the ever-popular local beers.
