The STUDS now have control of Conference A and two points in their final regular season game against Fivercide this week would secure them a third Conference title in a row and number one seeding for the knock out stages of the competition. The Warriors and Whores will slug it out for second place in a juicy Week 5 encounter on 10 July.
The Desperados are Conference B champions, but only just! They win that honour by virtue of scoring eight more points than the gallant runners-up, the Westway Wildcats. It’s all to play for in the final fixture of the regular season as a victory for either the Academy or Whorefc could lift them into third spot in the division.
Lia Redmond sat out Week 4 of the competition but remains in pole position on the MVP board. The pack is closing however, and Will Betts and Jeremy Hindle (2nd in 2011) still have chances to wrest her crown.
The Golden Glove is also very much up for grabs, and Ant Theodossi threw his hat into the ring this week with five pot shots. After a barren week, Will Betts found the target again to stay a couple of shots clear of Ant and Phil Lyndon.
