Zara Tweed reports:
16/10/18: On the 9th/10th February, the Uppingham School Fives Team are going to attempt to break the world record for the longest Fives game played.
This will involve 4 players playing for 42 hours in one go, with a 5 minute break per hour. We are doing this for a number of reasons: 30 years ago it was set at Uppingham but was quickly beaten by Shrewsbury, so we aim to bring the record back to Uppingham. We also thought that this would be an excellent way of promoting Fives at Uppingham, to encourage more people to get involved and also to open Fives up to the wider community.
