The RFA has today published its latest singles and doubles rankings, prepared on its behalf by Dave Hebden. They reflect results in the recent North of England Championships, as well as the Under 25s and North West Championships.
Although there's no change in the positions in the Top 10 singles rankings, the top two, Dan Tristao and Will Ellison, are now well clear of James Toop in third place, while Dan Grant is now in a solid fourth place, ahead of Matt Cavanagh. The big jumps occur further down the lists, with big rises for David Butler, Tim Widdop, Richie Murby and Chris Waller after some excellent recent wins.
The doubles rankings, likewise, see relatively little change, with the only adjustment in the top 10 being Charlie Brooke being leag-frogged by North of England champion Tom Dean. Veterans Neil Roberts and John Beswick make some good pregress after making the semis in Manchester, but the biggest single jump comes from Matt Shaw after he reached the final of the Under 25s doubles championship.
