Dominique Redmond reports:
REFCA's well established U14 competition took place at Harrow on Sunday and was one again a huge success with 62 pupils entering from 8 different schools.
Congratulations to the five players from QEB, St Olave's, Eton and Mill Hill who all managed to win every game they played. As always the famous penalty shoot out took place where the players had to hit the buttress from the back court. This saw Eton, St. Olave's (x2) and QEB progress to the final.
The final was won by Thomas Gallagher (St. Olave's) and Viral Gudiwala (QEB) who beat Vish Shetty (St. Olave's) and Will Cunningham-Reid (Eton) 12-8.
Well done to all players who took part and thank you to James Poole and Graham Dunbar for allowing us to use the Harrow School courts, and also to Kathryn Upton for taking the photos.
Our next U14 competition will be taking place on the 20th January 2013, also at Harrow School.
