19/04/18: Congratulations to the Old Millhillians, who clinched top spot in Division 1 last night in a tense title showdown with the Old Harrovians.
The Harrovians were two points behind coming into the fixture but already had first pair in the bag and knew that if they could win both of the two remaining pairs, the title would be theirs. Former OM player and now Harrow coach Ian Hutchinson & Rahul Wijeratne won the second pair for the Harrovians against Andrew Rennie & Jitesh Patel, but Oli Sander & Charlie Plummer overcame a third game fightback from Nick Shaw & Oskar Denby to win the third pair for the Millhillians and claim the trophy by one point.
Elsewhere in the league, defending champions St.Olave's School 1 are in a strong position in Division 2, with a strong late run from the Old Citizens 1 the only thing standing between them and a second consecutive win. Division 3 is still very much up for grabs going in to the last round of matches.
