The Old Millhillians clinched their first ever Division 1 title last night in fine style with a resounding 3-0 away win over the Old Olavians 2 at Orpington. Ian Hutchinson, Vishal Bhimjiyani, Oli Sander, Sunil Tailor, Will Hughes and Joe Coakley came away with all three points to take their final tally to 22, which takes them beyond the reach of defending champions Berkhamsted.

This is a fantastic achievement for the Mill Hill team in only their second season at this level and is a tribute to the work done by Steve Plummer and Ian Hutchinson at school level over recent years and also to the exemplary organis/national work of club management duo Chris Vincent and James Hutchinson. The OMs have consistently managed to put out strong sides all year, with the young core of the team still improving game by game, and have managed to overcome the formidable challenges presented by Berkhamsted, the two Olavian teams, the Dunbar-inspired Old Harrovians and the Old Westminsters to win the Douglas Keeble Cup. The Old Millhillians second team are also involved in a two-horse race with North Oxford to win the Division 2 title and potentially complete a memorable double.
