19/04/19: The EFA are delighted to announce that Gail Emms MBE is to be the new speaker at the end of season dinner at the RAC on Friday May 17th.
Gail is a former GB badminton player, whose playing career saw her win a host of major medals, including becoming world champion in the mixed doubles with Nathan Robertson in 2006 and winning a silver medal in the same event at the 2004 Olympic games in Athens. Since retiring in 2008, she has turned her attentions to sharing the hugely positive impact that sport can have on life and well-being, working as a Youth Sport Trust and Badminton Sport England Ambassador, inspiring young people to be more active and lead a healthy lifestyle as well as getting involved in both coaching and media work.
